About Sisters In Action

Group image of 13 queens from Sisters in Action all wearing black outfits

Sisters in Action began in 2017 as a one-time drag brunch fundraiser in Dallas, Texas, but quickly became much more. What started as a successful community effort grew into an ongoing tradition rooted in drag, joy, and giving back.

Today, Sisters in Action hosts charity drag brunches and drag shows benefiting local LGBTQIA+ nonprofits, currently calling The Rose Room home. Each event features talented drag queens and unforgettable drag acts, all while raising critical funds for organizations serving our community.

Since our first brunch, we’ve proudly raised over $350,000 for local causes, proving that when queens come together, real impact follows.

Sisters in Action is a 501(c)(3)-pending nonprofit organization.
